Glasses Holder Size & Fit Guide

By Desk Buddies · · Updated

A good fit starts with your frames. Use the published holder heights to plan your space, then check the shape of your glasses and the room their arms need behind the stand.

Compare the published heights

Approximate holder heights, excluding glasses

Pikachu4 inches3 inches
Hello Kitty5 inches3.5 inches

Adult and Child are size labels for the holder. They do not guarantee that a particular adult’s or child’s glasses will fit. Both designs are 3D printed in PLA; Pikachu has a flat back without a tail.

What these measurements tell you: height helps you plan clearance under a monitor or shelf. It does not establish the supported frame width. We have not published a tested minimum or maximum frame width, so we cannot promise a universal fit.

Check three parts of your glasses

  1. The front of the frame. Compare its shape with the glasses shown in our product photos. Wide, narrow, round, and deep frames can rest differently on the front supports.
  2. The bridge and lens position. The frames should rest naturally, without needing to be squeezed into place. Check that the lenses are not being pressed against the holder.
  3. The folding arms. Look at how your glasses close. Thick temples, unusual hinges, or a pronounced curve may need more room behind the holder.

For large frames and sunglasses, use the same checks. A large pair is not automatically compatible with the Adult holder, and a small pair is not automatically compatible with the Child holder.

Leave room behind the holder

Allow space for the glasses as well as the stand. Avoid pushing the holder flush against a wall or screen if that crowds the folded arms. A flat, uncluttered surface lets you put the frames down without catching a cable or another accessory.

Your before-ordering checklist

  • Compare the front and back product photos with your frames.
  • Check the listed holder height against your available space, allowing extra clearance for the glasses.
  • Choose a stable position away from an edge.
  • If the fit is unclear, ask before ordering.

Email Jhustin with a fit question. Include the holder you are considering, your frame model if known, and front and folded-arm photos. Share the full outside width of the frame if you have measured it. That helps us discuss your pair; a photo alone is not a fit guarantee.

See the placement instructions before use, and read the 7-day return policy before buying. Buyer-paid return shipping applies.
